Due to the ongoing and developing Coronavirus outbreak, governors have responded by cancelling all non-essential meetings & visits in school. We continue to govern and offer all necessary support and challenge to the school.
The school will strive to keep open and our main concern is to protect our staff & the pupils. We will do so by keeping the school environment as safe as we possibly can, but unfortunately it cannot be made risk free.
Children will be sent home if they appear unwell. We also recognise there are a number of reasons why families may choose to self-isolate. Please note no pupil absence will be recorded as unauthorised during this time, however please keep the school informed.
It is clear that everyone’s adherence to all government guidance on social distancing and for household’s to isolate for 14 days if anyone comes into contact with the virus or is symptomatic is necessary. Your full cooperation with this is sincerely appreciated.
Mrs Peacey will continue to update you with information as it becomes available and advise you in the event schools are closed down or we can no longer operate.
Thank you for your support and we wish everyone well at this difficult time.
