Hawthorn Scientists
The children had a great time being sense detectives. We used all of our senses to help a little girl find her teddy bear. The bear smelled of mint, liked eating apples, had a squeak in his tummy, had a paw print that was 10cm wide and felt soft and furry. The children had to try different samples to find the clues to work out who was the missing teddy bear. We have now been writing up our findings as every good Scientist should! Great fun was had by all although the blindfolded tasting of lemons and olives was not as popular as the sweets!
