This week we had our very first visit to the new Forest School and the children absolutely loved it! They enjoyed exploring the new setting, discovering their surroundings, and warming up with delicious hot chocolate and marshmallows. It was a lovely and memorable way to end the term. We celebrated Party Day on Thursday, where the children got into the festive spirit by taking part in party games and enjoying lots of fun together. It has been a joyful end to a busy and exciting term.
We have also now completed our topics on the Ancient Egyptians and changing states in science. In science, the children revisited and recalled their learning using their thinking squares, helping them to reflect on what they had learned and make connections between key ideas. They showed a good knowledge and understanding, and it was wonderful to see them sharing their knowledge as we wrapped up these topics.
