Shaping Bright Futures Together

Big Red Combine Harvester

We were delighted when one of the children brought in a combine harvester and told us all about how it worked.  We also found out about the meaning of harvest and how wheat grain is made into flour. We even practised grinding the grain to make flour.

Also we have been on a sound walk, where we listened carefully and identified the sounds we could hear.  We have tested out instruments, and played them loudly and quietly. On Thursday, we all wore red for Wear Red to School Day, to raise funds for the local Air Ambulance Charity.
