PTFA Easter Eggs-travaganza!

On Friday 15th April, the school was buzzing in the sunshine with lots of happy smiley children thanks to all the wonderful activities that were organised for them by the PTFA. There was crafting, face paints and glitter tattoos, throw the sponge, lucky dip and many many more. There were even 3 lambs joining in the fun running around the playground and a very cute real life Easter bunny that had a long line of children waiting to give it a cuddle.

All the Easter Egg Hunt maps were swapped for Easter Eggs which were in grave danger of melting in the heat of the sun!! Many thanks go to the organisations who donated the eggs for this occasion. Thanks go to: Aldi, Morrisons, Tesco and Waitrose for gifting the eggs and Aldi again for all the hot cross buns. Inside school the pop up tea room was a feast for the eyes with lots of spectacular cakes, again very kindly donated by parents and friends of the school. A special thanks goes to Mr and Mrs Waple for the 'guess the weight of the cake' cake. It was a work of art!

The winners of the Easter Art competition all received their winners hampers filled with lots of tasty Easter treats. It was a difficult decision to make but they were selected from all of the excellent entries by an independent judge. Big thanks goes to them.

The winners were:

Pre-School: Romilly,    Reception : Albert,    Year 1 : Georgina,    Year 2 : Bethany

Year 3 : Maisie,     Year 4 : Phoebe   and   Year 5 : Vivienne

Much fun was had by all and the total raised will be announced soon.  A massive well done and huge thanks go out to all the PTFA and other volunteers who helped out on the day.
