Shaping Bright Futures Together

Poles Apart

Having found out about the Antarctic last week, we learnt about the rest of the world.  In Poles Apart, we followed the exploits of some penguins who started off on a journey to have a picnic and got lost.  They ended up travelling to the Arctic to meet the polar bears and visited America, England, Italy, India and Australia before finally returning home to tuck into their picnic.

We found these countries on a map and have been thinking about different animals that may live in different places in the world.  We have also been dancing, moving in time to music whilst thinking about discovering a snowy environment.  We enjoyed listening to animals sounds and identifying which animals were making the sound.
