Ashton Under Hill First School

Shaping Bright Futures Together

Pre School

Within the Early Years Foundation Stage (Preschool and Reception) we offer a caring, friendly, enabling environment which promotes the learning and development of every child and prepares them for the challenges of today and tomorrow. The happiness and well-being of each child is central to all that we do and we provide a safe, relaxed atmosphere where children can quickly settle and confidently become involved in all of the learning opportunities on offer.

Key to this is developing trusting relationships and working in partnership with families. We aim for every child to leave the Early Years Foundation Stage as a confident, independent and reflective learner.

We provide a Pre-School Information Booklet to be read in conjunction with our School Prospectus.

 Admissions

We accept children into our pre-school from the term after they are 3 years old and we open during school term time only.

Our Staff

The pre-school is very much a part of the Ashton under Hill First School family with Mrs Alison Peacey as its Head Teacher.  Mrs. Juliet Shiels is leading the pre-school with the support of Teaching Assistants, Mrs. Michelle Clayton and Miss. Ronnie Saunders.
