Cluster Cross Country

This week the year 4 and 5's from Oak class were lucky enough to take part in our annual Cluster Cross Country event which was held  at Bredon School in Tewkesbury. The school is set in stunning grounds, enabling the children to experience a professional cross country course!

All of our cluster schools took part so the competition was really tough with around 60-70 children in each race. Our children really encouraged each other and cheered everyone on. They all ran their socks off and every single one of them completed the challenging course.

We had some medals.... Edith got a bronze medal in the year 5 girl's race and Adam got a silver medal in the year 4 boy's race. Our year 4 girls also got a bronze in the year 4 girl's team event.

A huge thank you to Bredon school for hosting and to Andy Train who organised the event on behalf of the cluster.

Well done to all our lovely, talented children, not only for their running skills but for their excellent behaviour and team spirit as well, Mrs Tulley and I are very proud of them.
