Shaping Bright Futures Together

2526 Oak wb 15th December

In English over the last week, we have been exploring travel writing. We have been researching places that we would like to visit and thinking about places we have been. We have been writing why we would like to visit them.

In Maths we have been finishing up our fraction’s unit. We have learnt how to add and subtract fractions with different denominators. We have also been recalling all the Maths we have learnt this term.

In our PSHE sessions the children in Oak class have been making calm jars as part of their unit on mental health. We have also learnt about what it takes to be a good Hindu in RE and recalled some of our important vocabulary that we have learnt this term.

In amongst all this the children have been enjoying lots of festive treats such as their Christmas dinner and Party Day, alongside learning about the story of ‘A Christmas Carol.’ We look forward to a lovely relaxing Christmas break!
