Appointment of Headteacher

The Governing body informed parents on 1st May of the successful appointment of a new Headteacher for the school from September 2025. Having completed the recruitment process and shortlisting three candidates, interviews were held on 30th April.

The recruitment process of a Headteacher is necessarily vigorous and subject to extensive evaluation to ensure that the school appoints the most able candidate to take on the role. The Chair of Governors was delighted to inform the school community that Mrs Tulley was  appointed with effect from 1st September.

Mr. Mills, supported by members of the governing body congratulated Mrs Tulley, and will be supporting her as she takes on her new appointment. Mrs Peacey and Mrs Tulley will be working together to ensure a smooth transition.

This is an exciting opportunity for Mrs Tulley to open the next chapter in the school’s history and with parents help continue to build a bright future for all of our pupils.
