A snapshot of school life this week
With the lockdown coming into force this week, we are well aware that there is lots going on for everyone at the moment. People often ask us how things are going in school and we thought it would be good to share a glimpse of life in school and how our lovely children are thriving in our happy and calm school environment. In this short clip, taken in one sequence, you can see every class busy at work .Our Acorn pre school and reception children are enjoying a forest school session on the school field learning about safety around the fire before lighting our 5th November ‘bonfire’; Hawthorn children are learning about traditional tales; Willow and Oak classes are working in groups indoors and outdoors, learning about how evidence found at the Star Carr archaeological dig in North Yorkshire has provided valuable information about Stone Age life in the Mesolithic era.
