Eco 23 Dig up your pants!

After 8 weeks, it was time for each class to Dig up their pants!  This is an initiative designed to raise the profile on soil.  We compared the results and discovered that paper pants disintegrate quicker than cotton ones. With the exception of the Willow Class pants which had a few roots growing in them, there was little difference in the decomposition rate. Since the results were inconclusive, it was agreed that the pants would be reburied and left until the end of term.

We also took the opportunity to plant the King Charles III wildflower seeds that were given to the school.
