Goldilocks visits and there is a kite stuck in a tree!

Our imaginations have ran wild this week!  We started the week by helping Holly Class try and retrieve a book that had got stuck in tree.  This turned out to be 'Stuck' a book about a little boy who gets his kite stuck in a tree.  Later in the week, we experimented with our own kites (plastic bag on a string), and were delighted as they lifted off the ground.

One of our children asked to make a den and we made a castle in the classroom.  We have read and acted out the story of 'Goldilocks and the Three Bears' .  This has filtered through into our play, and we have had great fun imagining lots of wild scenarios.  We have also had a focus on our Physical Development, doing activities that involve both our gross motor and fine motor skills.
