Shaping Bright Futures Together

Willow wb 7th March

This week in Willow Class we have been continuing to work on non-fiction texts. Our feature text has been 'Everything you need to know about snakes and other scaly reptiles' and we have been investigating how this text tells us lots about snakes.

In Maths we have been adding and subtracting fractions and the whole class worked really hard getting to grips with this skill.

In preparation for some of our work in Science week we have been finding out the names of parts of a flower.

In RE with Mrs Chamberlain, we have been doing physical theatre to retell the story of 'Jonah and the Whale' and we took it in turns to be the boat.

We even found time to start to learn a new song in French, called 'Savez-vous Planter les Choux' all about planting cabbage seeds with different parts of the body.

We hope Mrs. Billings will feel better soon - we all missed her today.
