• Wednesday 20 September 2023 23 Oak Week Beginning 18th September Week 3 has brought lots of learning and fun activities to Oak Class which culminated with a special Harvest Assembly.
• Wednesday 13 September 2023 23 Oak Week Beginning 11th September 2023 Our second week into the Autumn Term has been very productive indeed.
• Wednesday 6 September 2023 23 Oak Week Beginning 4th September It was wonderful to welcome back lots of familiar faces and to get to know some new additions too. The children have settled into their new classroom brilliantly and have produced some fabulous work already - I have high hopes for great things this year!

• Thursday 13 July 2023 23 Oak Week Beginning 10th July We have had a extraordinarily busy week this week, finishing off and continuing with our curriculum work and having fun on our leavers trip and cooking!!
• Thursday 6 July 2023 23 Oak Week Beginning 3rd July This week we have completed our summaries of A Midsummers Night Dream, the children did a brilliant job of including al the main events in this very complicated plot. They have enjoyed their first experience of studying a Shakespearean text and I hope it will inspire them to discover others. Our next writing task is to write a balanced argument and we will use our Topic focus - Protecting Our Future (which is all about plastic waste) to construct points for each side of the argument. In Maths we have been converting between different forms of measurement and putting our multiplication and division by 10, 100, and 1000 skills to good use. We have learnt that the prefix 'milli' and 'kilo' refer to the number 1000 which has helped us to remember some of the key facts. We have also been doing our end of term assessments and they showing how hard we have worked to make progress this year.
• Friday 30 June 2023 23 Oak Week Beginning 26th June We have had an exciting week both in and out of school this week, with 2 days out of the classroom.
