• Thursday 5 December 2024 2425 Acorn - Jesus' Christmas Party Christmas has come to Acorn Class! There is now a sleigh and plenty of reindeer to pull it. There is also a Post Office, with plenty of parcels, letters and stamps which find their way into Santa's sack. The role play has been fantastic, with children joining together in their imaginary games.

• Thursday 28 November 2024 2425 Holly Class week beginning 25th November Things are certainly starting to feel festive in Holly Class and our nativity rehearsals are in full swing! The children have been very excited to find our the parts they will be playing and have really impressed us by how quickly they are learning the songs. • Thursday 21 November 2024 2425 Acorn -The Three Little Pigs The snow that arrived on Tuesday caused great excitement. We went straight outside to play in it, even managing to build a snowman before cold fingers and toes got the better of us. On Thursday, we hunted in the playground for ice and brought it inside to investigate. We noticed that it was very cold, that it broke when we dropped it and that it had tiny little bubbles in it. After a while it melted, leaving puddles!

• Wednesday 20 November 2024 2425 Willow wb 18.11.24 Willow class have been completing their art project this week which has involved working together to create large display size dragon heads that could be displayed on a Viking longship. We have used our sketching skills including hatching and stippling to add tone to the dragon's head as well as collage to create the textured appearance of dragon scales. We were really impressed with the finished effect and the children worked really effectively together.
